The Creative Arts Emmys will be presented in recognition of technical and other similar achievements in American television programming. They are commonly awarded to the behind-the-scenes personnel, staff and production units such as art directors, costume designers, cinematographers, casting directors, and sound editors.
This also includes the recognition for the outstanding animated programs and guet acting. Both of the Primetime and Daytime awards will also present their separate Creative Arts Emmys and ceremonies prior to the respective main ceremonies.
